Navigating the Illuminex App

The Illuminex App provides a complete dashboard for controlling and monitoring your AquaDive. The app consists of three main sections:

3.1 Home Page #

• Check battery percentage and WiFi signal strength.
• Start, stop, or pause cleaning with a single tap.
• Access cleaning mode selection.
• View the map view icon to see the pool layout.

3.2 Cleaning Modes & Manual Control #

The Illuminex App provides two primary control modes for AquaDive:

Auto Mode: #

• Full Area Cleaning – Cleans the entire pool (floor and walls).
• Floor Mode – Focuses only on the pool floor.
• Wall Mode – Cleans only the walls of the pool.

Manual Mode: #

• 4-Way Button Control – Steer AquaDive manually in any direction.
• Pause Function – Stop AquaDive mid-cleaning.
• Ascent & Descent Mode – Make AquaDive climb or descend a wall on command.
• Remove Vacuum – AquaDive will move to the nearest wall and climb up for easy retrieval.

3.3 Scheduling Cleaning Sessions #

• Navigate to the Scheduling Section in the app.
• Set up daily, weekly, or customized cleaning schedules.
• AquaDive will automatically start cleaning at the scheduled time.
• Adjust schedules to optimize cleaning efficiency and battery life.

3.4 Smart Automation & Integration #

AquaDive can be integrated into smart pool automation routines using the Illuminex App.

Automation Functions: #

• Cleaning Mode:
  • Automatically switch between Wall, Floor, or Full Area (Auto) Mode based on schedule or conditions.
• Skimmer:
  • Toggle the pool skimmer on or off when AquaDive is active, ensuring synchronized pool cleaning.

Example Automation Routines: #

• IF the pool pump turns off → THEN start AquaDive in Auto Mode.
• IF pool cover is removed → THEN enable Wall Cleaning Mode.
• IF AquaDive finishes cleaning → THEN turn on the skimmer for debris filtration.
• Voice Control: Use Google Assistant or Alexa to start and stop cleaning.
