The LU-CV15 check valve helps prevent water from reversing through pool equipment plumbing when circulation stops.
The arrow on the valve points in the intended direction of flow. The check valve does not replace proper plumbing design or system valves.

Installation Overview
- Turn off the circulation system and relieve system pressure.
- Confirm the intended direction of water flow.
- Position the valve so its flow arrow matches the plumbing flow direction.
- Prepare the PVC pipe and female socket connections.
- Apply approved PVC primer and solvent cement.
- Insert and align the pipe without allowing excess cement to enter the valve.
- Allow the connection to cure according to the cement manufacturer’s instructions.
- Restart the system and inspect for leaks and proper operation.
Installation must follow applicable plumbing, pool-safety and local code requirements.
