Installation Overview
- Shut down the pool circulation system.
- Disconnect electrical power to the circulation equipment where required.
- Relieve all system pressure.
- Confirm the planned function of each of the three plumbing ports.
- Dry-fit the valve and PVC plumbing before applying cement.
- Confirm that the handle has enough clearance for operation and future servicing.
- Prepare the pipe and female socket connections.
- Apply approved PVC primer and solvent cement.
- Insert and align each pipe without allowing excessive cement to enter the valve.
- Allow the connections to cure according to the cement manufacturer’s instructions.
- Restart the circulation system.
- Inspect all three connections for leaks and verify correct water routing.
Installation must follow the pool-system design, product instructions, and applicable plumbing and local code requirements.
