Illuminex App

The Illuminex App is available for download on iOS and Android devices. Search for "Illuminex", install the app, and begin managing your smart pool system from anywhere.

Once installed:

• Create an account using your email

• Verify your email address

• Make sure your phone is connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi network (5GHz is not supported for device pairing)

1. Open the Illuminex app and select "Add New Device"

2. Choose your device type from the list (AquaPump, AquaSkim, AquaDive, AquaChlor, Lumi Controller, etc.)

3. Put the device into pairing mode (typically by holding the WiFi/Bluetooth button until the indicator light flashes)

4. The app will detect the device and walk you through connecting it to your 2.4GHz WiFi network

5. Once paired, the device appears on your dashboard

Tip: Bluetooth pairing is also available for nearby control. WiFi enables remote access from anywhere.

The Illuminex App lets you build automations across all connected devices:

• Schedules — Run pumps, lights, and heaters on time-based routines

• Scenes — One-tap activations like "Evening Swim" (lights on, pump high, heater 82°F)

• Conditional automations — e.g., turn lights on at sunset, run cleaner before guests arrive

• Multi-device coordination — Pump, lights, and heater all act in sync

Real-time alerts include:

• Filter pressure warnings

• Salt level out of range

• Cleaner finished or stuck

• Pump fault or low flow

• Heater error codes

You can customize which alerts you receive and configure quiet hours.

Manage multiple pools from one account. Useful for:

Each property has its own dashboard, automations, and alerts.
