AquaSkim Solar Pool Surface Cleaner

1. Unbox the AquaSkim

2. Charge fully via USB-C (4 hours)

3. Place in the pool — it will float on the surface

4. Press start

5. Pair with the Illuminex app (optional, recommended)

The AquaSkim is compatible with both freshwater and saltwater pools.

Solar panels on top of the unit recharge the battery during operation:

• Battery life: Up to 31 hours on a full charge

• Initial USB-C charge: 4 hours

• Solar top-up: Continuous in direct sunlight

Bring indoors for full USB charging during cloudy weeks.

• AquaSkim runs continuously, removing leaves, dirt, and floating debris

• Wall sensors prevent collisions

• Adjustable pins prevent it from entering shallow areas (great for beach-entry pools)

• Trash full detection notifies you via the app when the basket is full

1. Lift AquaSkim out of the water

2. Open the debris basket compartment

3. Empty leaves, bugs, and debris

4. Rinse with a hose

5. Reinsert and resume operation

Empty after every full debris notification (or weekly during heavy leaf-fall periods).

Pairing:

1. Hold the WiFi/Bluetooth button until the indicator flashes

2. Open Illuminex app → "Add New Device" → AquaSkim

3. Connect to your 2.4GHz network

Common issues:

• Won't connect: Confirm 2.4GHz WiFi

• Battery drains fast: Reduce shade exposure or USB charge to top up

• Won't move: Check propeller for debris
