What lights are compatible with this controller?
It works with 12V AC pool and landscape lights, including Illuminex AquaGlow LEDs, as long as the total connected load does not exceed 100W.

Who should install the WiFi Light Controller?

Can I connect the controller directly to 115V AC?
No. The controller must always be powered through a low-voltage 12V AC transformer. Direct connection to 115V AC is hazardous and voids warranty.
What is the maximum load?
100W total across all outputs (with no single output exceeding 25W).
How do I manually control the lights?
Use the Manual button to cycle through color modes. Each press corresponds to a different preset (SAM, Party, Romance, Caribbean, etc.) or fixed colors (Blue, Red, Green, White, Magenta). “Hold” and “Recall” functions let you save or return to your favorite mode.
How do I reset WiFi pairing?
Hold the WiFi button for 5 seconds until the indicator blinks, then re-pair using the Illuminex App.
Can I schedule lighting effects?
Yes. In the Illuminex App, use the Schedule tab to set timers for colors, scenes, or brightness adjustments.
The controller won’t pair with WiFi. What should I do?
Ensure you are on a 2.4GHz network, press and hold the WiFi button for 5 seconds, and try pairing near your router.
My lights aren’t turning on.
Verify transformer output (12V AC), confirm total load is under 100W, and check all wiring connections.
The app disconnects randomly.
Move the controller closer to the router or reset WiFi pairing. Check signal strength within the app.
The lights are out of sync.
Cycle the power to the lights 15 times to resynchronize all connected units.
Can the controller be installed outdoors?
Yes, but only in a weatherproof enclosure, sheltered from direct rain and sunlight, and within WiFi range.
Can I use extension cords with this device?
No. Never use extension cords on either the transformer input (115V AC) or the controller’s 12V AC output.
