The Replaceable Element Inside AquaClear 200
The cartridge sits inside the AquaClear LU-CF200 filter housing and provides the replaceable filtration surface used by the cartridge-filter system.
It can be removed for approved cleaning, inspection and replacement without replacing the complete filter assembly.
This Is a Replacement Cartridge — Not the Complete Filter
The parent LU-CF200 complete filter is documented with 200 SQ. FT. filtration area, 120 GPM max flow rate, 2-inch inlet/outlet, and up to 20,000-gallon pool capacity. These are complete-filter specifications and are not presented as specifications of the replacement cartridge unless separately verified.
Designed for AquaClear 200
This cartridge is model-specific to LU-CF200. It does not fit AquaClear LU-CF425 or LU-CF525 — those filters use dedicated replacement cartridges LU-CFE425 and LU-CFE525 respectively.

Product & Package Details
Package dimensions are the shipping/listed dimensions — not physical cartridge dimensions. UPC is from the Illuminex price list.
Micron rating, pleat count, media material, core material, end-cap material, cartridge diameter, and cartridge height are not published unless approved data exists. Material is not inferred from the pleated appearance of the cartridge.
Cleaning & Cartridge Care
Shut Down the System
Turn off the circulation pump before opening the filter.
Relieve Filter Pressure
Fully relieve pressure according to the current AquaClear filter instructions.
Remove the Cartridge
Open the filter using the approved service procedure and remove the cartridge element.
Inspect & Clean
Inspect the cartridge and clean it according to the current AquaClear maintenance instructions.
Replace When Necessary
Install LU-CFE200 when the AquaClear 200 replacement element is required.
Cleaning and replacement frequency depends on pool use, debris load, system operation, and cartridge condition. No fixed interval is published unless approved AquaClear documentation provides one. Do not invent a pressure-rise threshold (e.g. "clean at 8 PSI above starting pressure") unless the current AquaClear manual explicitly gives that value.
When Should the Cartridge Be Replaced?
Visible Damage
Inspect for tears, damaged pleats or other visible physical deterioration.
Reduced Serviceability
If the cartridge can no longer be properly cleaned or maintained according to the AquaClear instructions, replacement may be required.
Correct Model
Always replace the LU-CF200 element with the approved LU-CFE200 cartridge.
Depressurize Before Opening the Filter
Turn off the circulation pump and fully relieve pressure from the filtration system before opening the AquaClear filter housing or removing the cartridge.
Follow the current AquaClear LU-CF200 maintenance instructions.
Never loosen the clamp while the system is pressurized.
Never open the filter housing while the pump is running.
What's Included
Package contents come from the actual product record. No filter tank, pressure gauge, clamp ring, air-relief assembly, plumbing unions, O-rings, drain plug, or cleaning tool is shown unless explicitly included.
