Helps Keep Debris Out of the Pump
The strainer basket sits inside the pump's strainer pot and collects larger debris before it reaches internal pump components.
It can be removed during routine maintenance for cleaning and inspection.
This is the pump strainer basket — it is not a pool filter cartridge or sand filter element and does not perform fine-particle pool-water filtration or sanitization.
