Directs Water Through the Sand Filter System
The multiport valve directs water through the appropriate flow path for normal filtration and approved service functions on compatible AquaCrystal sand filters.
Current AquaCrystal documentation identifies valve functions including Filter, Backwash, Rinse, and Waste.
Multiport Valve Functions
Only approved valve positions are shown. Additional positions must come from the actual valve documentation.
For normal filtration operation.
Reverses the filter flow path for approved sand-filter cleaning.
Used as part of the approved post-backwash service sequence.
Routes water according to the filter's waste-function configuration.
Compatible AquaCrystal Filters
This valve is categorized as a replacement part for the AquaCrystal sand-filter family. The models below are typical 1.5-inch configurations β exact replacement compatibility must be confirmed before ordering.
Valve port size alone does not prove replacement compatibility. Two filters can both use a 1.5-inch valve but still differ in tank-neck connection, valve body design, clamp arrangement, standpipe connection, or gasket design. Confirm the exact replacement-part relationship before ordering.
Multiport valves may differ in mounting, internal connection and port arrangement even when the plumbing size is the same. Confirm your AquaCrystal filter model before ordering.
Have a 24-Inch AquaCrystal?
Check the model number before ordering. LU-SF24 uses the 1.5-inch valve configuration, while LU-SF24II uses the 2-inch configuration.
Do not choose by filter diameter β both are 24-inch filters. Check the filter model number on the label.

Which Multiport Valve Do I Need?
There are two valve configurations. Check the filter model number β not just the diameter β to find the correct valve.
1.5-Inch Valve
Typical current AquaCrystal configurations:
- LU-SF19 β AquaCrystal 19-Inch Sand Filter
- LU-SF22 β AquaCrystal 22-Inch Sand Filter
- LU-SF24 β AquaCrystal 24-Inch Sand Filter
Subject to exact replacement-part verification.
2-Inch Valve
Current AquaCrystal configurations include:
- LU-SF24II β AquaCrystal 24-Inch Sand Filter
- LU-SF31 β AquaCrystal 31-Inch Sand Filter
- LU-SF36 β AquaCrystal 36-Inch Sand Filter
Subject to exact replacement-part verification.

Valve Details
Only confirmed information is shown. Port connection type, tank connection, standpipe connection, material, pressure rating, and handle type are not published unless verified in the product record.
Pressure rating is not published unless the valve itself has an approved rating. Filter working pressure and individual component ratings are not assumed to be identical.
Depressurize Before Service
Turn off the circulation pump and fully relieve pressure from the filtration system before removing or servicing the multiport valve.
Follow the current AquaCrystal filter manual for valve removal, installation and operation.
Never remove the valve while the tank is pressurized.
Do not change valve positions while the pump is running unless the current AquaCrystal manual specifically permits it.
When Should the Multiport Valve Be Serviced?
Visible Damage
Inspect the valve body, handle and plumbing connections for visible damage.
Difficult Operation
If the valve no longer operates normally, inspect it according to the current AquaCrystal service instructions.
Internal Seal Wear
Internal sealing components should be inspected or replaced only according to the approved valve service information.
What's Included
Package contents come from the actual product record. No pressure gauge, O-ring, tank gasket, clamp, handle, sight glass, union fittings, or hardware is shown unless actually included.
The pressure gauge is a separate service part β it is not assumed to be included with this valve unless the backend package contents confirm it.
